$35–$65 per hour of work
The hourly rate depends on the collection and scope of work, is agreed before work begins and never exceeds $65. Billing covers working time, including preparation, playback and transfer, quality checks and file organization.
Open-reel tapes, cassettes and VHS can be transferred with preservation files, access copies and documentation suited to the collection. Restoration is assessed and quoted separately before any processing begins.
Consulting & capacity building
$125/hour
Support for your team to set up and run its own digitization or recording workstation: equipment selection, signal flow, documented workflows and practical staff training.
Consulting and project planning are agreed separately, with scope, estimated hours and deliverables confirmed in advance.

Custom Pricing for Audio Materials and Recording Services
Digitization is billed at $35–$65 per hour of work, depending on the collection and scope. Recording, podcast production, narration and audiobook services are quoted individually, according to the work involved and the agreed deliverables.

Noise reduction, click and pop repair, hum removal and other restoration are assessed and quoted separately from transfer. Processing is agreed before work begins. The unprocessed transfer remains the preservation master; restored or edited versions are documented derivatives. Any use of AI-based tools is discussed with you first, including permissions and data handling. - Digitization of Analog Materials — $35–$65/hour
The rate and estimated working time reflect the collection’s format, quantity, condition and agreed scope. Working time covers assessment, setup, capture, quality checks and file preparation. Open Reels
$35–$65 per hour of work
Open-reel transfers fall within the $35–$65 hourly digitization range. The rate depends on the collection and scope, including format, condition and preparation needs. Billing covers working time for assessment, preparation, playback and transfer, quality checks and file organization; a 90-minute recording can take more than 90 minutes of work. The rate, estimated hours and deliverables are agreed before work begins.
